GOURMET CIRCUIT!

DAY 1!

The meeting point will be in the city center, exactly in front of the Academy of Economic Studies at 6 am. At 6:30 they will leave with a trainer.

At 13 - 13:30 tourists will arrive and they will stay at the guesthouse in September, which is situated on the Danube riverbank, at the exit of small boilers on DN 57 road linking Orşova of Moldova Noua (km 17 + 800) . September Guesthouse is limited strictly protected area of the Natural Park ‘Iron Gates’.

At 14:00 the tourists will take lunch at the hostel, preparations are some of the region: the first course will be served a traditional soup from Oltenia, chicken or vegetables, sour cabbage with zema and the main course will be served dishes fish: fish tackle, fish brine, carp with mushrooms and rice, carp baked with tomatoes, the trout, carp baked with vegetables or fish in the lake of tomatoes.

At 15: 00 will go for a walk to get acquainted with the area and sightseeing interest

At 19:00 the tourist will go back to the guesthouse where they dine, and for the first dish they will serve soupe, and they can choose baked bean or fish dishes for the second dish. For desert they will serve cheesecake .

The evening will end with a bonfire near the guesthouse.

DAY 2!

At 10:00 the group will have breakfast that will include ham, leeks, tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese.

At 11:00 will leave with a minibus to the Iron Gates Natural Park where the main activities are fishing and for those who prefer more fun it exist recreational equipment for canoeing, biking and climbing.

At 14:00 they can take lunch in a restaurant in Orsova, where they serve traditional food.

At 17:00 the group will go on a short hike up the mountain from where they will be picked up and taken back to the hostel.

At 19:00 the group will dine , the fresh fish that they caught during the day, with a traditional wine, Zaibar.

DAY 3!

The breakfast will be take at 9.am

At 10 am, they will fix the order in which they will visit these cultural and religious destinations:

1. Vodita Monastery

Vodita Monastery was founded in the XIV century, the territory of Varciorova, near the border of the Austro-Hungarian and Romanian Country. The monastery was built between 1370-1372, by Venerable Nicodemus the Sanctified of Tismana the expense of Prince Vladislav I - Vlaicu Voda

2. Monastery of Saint Ana

Monastery of Saint Ana is situated on the Danube Gorge, one of the most beautiful natural places in our country. 3. Roman Catholic Cathedral of Orşova

Roman Catholic Cathedral of Orsova is considered an architectural masterpiece of the twentieth century, also represents a single page in the history of the church being the bridge between minorities in Orsova (German, Czech, Hungarian). The church is unique in Europe, being as specific elements of the interior and roof tent shaped cross.

The first three objectives are religious cultural visors, wich can be visit until 14:00 when the tourists will take lunch that include soup, meatballs and peppers provided by the monastery of St. Anne.

4. Parish Museum Eselnita

Eselnita Parish Museum was founded in 1990 - 1996, grace and humble priest Sever Negrescu donors. 5.Monastey Mraconia

At 18:00 tourists will return to the hostel where they dine.

At 20:00 the group will meet in the restaurant to discuss the day spent there.

DAY 4!

At 9.am tourist will take breakfast.

At 10:00 tourists will go to visit the Iron Gates Region Museum, situated in Drobeta Turnu Severin, organized in many sections (history, archeology, natural sciences, aquarium, art popular and ertnografie). Also you can visit the ruins of this Roman camp "Drobeta" which is the first stone building built by the Romans in Dacia, Roman bridge building first appears over the Danube, its ruins (2 feet)wich cand be seen today.

The time that you need to visit those objectives is 2 hours.

At 13:00 the group will take last meal at Pension September

At 14:00 the group will go back to Bucharest.

The cost of such a program is structured as follows:

- Transport: 800 km: 550 lei

- Services provided by the park administration guide: 100 lei

- Weight: 80 lei / person

- Accommodation: 90 lei / person

To a group of 10 persons:

Transport -> 550/10 = 55 lei / person

Services Guide -> 100/10 = 10 lei / person

Table -> 80 lei / person * 3 days = 240 lei / person

Accommodation -> 90 lei / person * 3 = 270 lei / person

Total ^ = 575 lei / person

Fee = 10% * £ 575 = £ 57.5

* 24% VAT = £ 57.5 = 13.8
